In my MA2 I am talking about the Air Force and how it plays into my writing and literacy experience. This is what I experienced as a freshman going into the Armed Forces. It was scary and fun all at the same time. It’s about my thoughts on how things are worded and how I thought about them. It’s a pretty long story but I think it really gives you an in site on how my semester went with having to do Air force stuff in the middle of having 19 credit hours.
Your story about the Air Force is very interesting! What does AFROTC stand for? By explaining the meaning of this to your audience they would be able to gain a better understanding of what the Air Force is like, and it may help expand your paper!

I think that the part about how you had to start addressing people of higher ranking people was different than what you’re used to could be a great transition into how it plays with your literacy experience. In what ways do you believe it has changed or played into your writing and literacy experience?

What does PT stand for and mean? Did learning what all of these abbreviations mean come as a struggle for you at first? Explaining this could also help your audience have a better understanding with you transitioning into the Air Force!

Was the way they tell the time (“0600-0700”) a difficult thing to transition into? In what way could this have altered your writing and literacy experience?

I really enjoyed the way your story and paper is set up. The short paragraphs really worked for me.

I feel you could go deeper with why you wanted to go into the Air Force and provide some back story.

Maybe you could also give explanations to some of the acronyms. For outsides reading this paper who are not in the military might not know what what “PT” means or “AFROTC.”

If you weren’t in the military what would you be doing. Would you choose a different path. You could also write about yours past experiences with reading and writing.
